so my 93 sedan has a "jdm" 2.5L all i can find is japan all over the engine and ej25, so i guess it isnt usdm. anyways it was a sorta drop in, using the old 1.8L ecu harness and some other things. and it bogs down above 3K to about 4500 then its fine. no i think if i hook up a 2.5L ecu then it'll be fine, but i dont know if i have to fine a JDM ecu for it to run prefect or will a usdm one work fine?

all this jdm and usdm crap is getting annoying lol im going all usdm when i AWD swap, i just need the 2.5 to run good till i swap.

thanks

just use USDM, I doubt there is a significant difference in USDM->JDM during that time period. If anything JDM was more advanced than USDM and all you would need to do is get a newer year USDM to match to the JDM hardware.
