Whos got em? What temp?
My STi has hids stock, so I am under the impression that if I want to change temp all I need to get is the bulbs themselves. I am considering ordering a set of yellow ones for my headlights, as I really liked the performance of my yellow h3 fogs I had in my old car. I have 6 white fogs also, so I think it would provide a nice contrast for late night canyon runs.
Any input?

dont do yellow as your main running lights, if anything stay white or slightly blue no higher than 8000k. the yellow would just drive you nutty haha

In the winter, if you live in a snowy area, I'd expect yellow would be good as a main headlight color. But of you're going white stay under 8k, like gnome said.

im running DDM 5k bulbs, its more of a white light with a hint of blue. My fogs are the same but they seem to be more blue but i think its cause my car is blue and the light is reflecting off of my car. Heres the pic of my car with the lights on to show you the 5k bulbs.

8k bulbs would be more purple. Where I got my HIDS is from this website they have a color guide as well http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-35W-or-55W

The lower the number the 'warmer' the color. Regular halogen lamps are about 2700k. The higher the number the 'cooler' the color. 5000k is about where they start to go from white to blue. If you want to learn more search 'lighting color temperatures'.
