what are you going to be doing with the car?
are coilovers really needed? good struts and fresh springs can do a very very good job. and cost less than an set of decent coilovers
also, you can defenitly find used coilovers for an affordable price that need a rebuild..

Yeah, i thin we need to identify why exactly you're looking to get coilovers.
Is it adjustable height you want?
Want a stout gravel suspension setup?
To answer your question briefly, yes... used coilovers you can get a great deal on them and just get them rebuilt (for anywhere in the neighborhood of $75 - $150 per corner).

yeah my friend just told me to get coilovers but i thought i could just get new springs. im not really looking for adjustable height, im just looking to lower the car like an inch or two in the front and an inch in the back haha. im still learning about all this stuff so thanks for the advice.

not too much lowering done around here:) we like to raise our cars in order to make them more functional! function is key. you gonna be tracking the car a lot? or road racing etc...? or just going for a lowered car look? mount up a heavy duty steel bumper for your 2 inches in the front and throw a couple sandbags in the back for your inch back there!

megan is affordable performance and its acceptable. the only experience i have with coilovers are with hondas. when i got my suby, i decided that i didnt want to be slammed on the ground anymore. i went with tein springs and it lowered the car about an inch. i think you may want the coilovers sp u can go lift the car and go offroading then lower it back down for street use. id only suggest the megan coil overs for light use. dont try and go rally racing with that set up. someone suggested going with a used setup and i suggest it too. you can get a name brand setup at a much lower cost.
