View Full Version : bug eye to hawk eye swap?

I am looking to replace my front end on my bug eye to a hawk eye. Can anyone give me any info on if parts line up fenders,bumper,ect.. any other parts needed to complete the swap. please and thanks.
Not sure if this is the place for this thread if not sorry in advance.

There's a thread by lorenkb on here about going the other way, hawkeye to bugeye. I would suggest reading through it to see what all is involved. It's a pretty big project that required pretty much revamping the entire front end of his car.

Fenders, bumper, headlights, bumper beam, fog lights, and maybe subframe...I don't remember.

The question is why would you want to?? Bugeyes are teh sekz. Are you also going to get rid of the Bugeye WRX seats for USDM STi seats?

I need a nap.

I think he had to change the radiator support as well.

IMO the bug eye looks best. a close second is the GC and blob eye front end. i was under the impression t was a simple swap but i guess its not. if u got the money and time, go for it.

Alright well you can hit up Jorge, his whole kits was custom made, but its the general idea. Im over in Spring Valley, if you ever need any help feel free to hit me up. I have a tactrix cable if you need a reflash or CEL codes turned off for SMOG. I have done most of the work on my own car so I have a bit of mechanical know how.
