Another new person

Hi all. I'm a big fan of dirtyimpreza and all other grass roots rally stuff. I just bought a 91 MR2 but I codrive in a subie and have in the past. Cant think of much else to say, heres some pics.

Dont know if anyone else stage rally's but if you got questions especially about codriving I'll be glad to answer them.

Welcome to our boards!! There are several on here that do stage rally, and the rest of us are making our way (however fast or slow) towards a similar goal.

I'm hoping I'll have a chance to ask a few questions about riding shotgun sooner than later, as I've only read tulips in a course opening car.

Yes I codrove for her at Rim 06 Id like to see the pic! I now codrive for Cem Akdeniz his is the white GC. I also codrive for his friend Hakan Okcuoglu this guy rallied against Makkinen back in the early nineties in the ERC. Theyre both quick and tidy but we seem to have bad mechanical luck.

Its an experience to be calling out some pacenotes in Turkish.:eek:

Cool, I've often wondered if anyone who runs Laughlin had ever had a crack at RBR. I'm guessing the 'spot on' one is Hualapai Nation or Diamond Creek? I've seen elements of both in real videos of Laughlin stages.

Hakan is the guy with the awesome yellow Fiat 131 right? I've seen him at a couple of rallycrosses.

It was diamond creek and a very very surreal moment during recce when my brain clicked and realized it was the same as the game. Although now the stage is very rough near the end.

I'm planning on hitting the stages sometime in 2009, and hopefully getting some co-driving in in the meantime. Seems like everyone's looking for experienced co-drivers....but then how do you get experience? LOL

Hey Jon* go over to the specialstage.com message boards. And post in the codrivers forum. Even if you have no experience someone will pick you up eventually, trust me. Tons of stickied threads in that channel that are very informative for first timers, like "what to bring to my first rally"
