Last month I got my Subtle Solutions lift kit installed, with saggy butt's in the back as well. I just got a set of used stock 98' Outback gold alloy's, and a set of almost new M+S tires.
My friend had just bought a low mileage 2008 outback, and got the tires and rims for a great deal
I knew the bolt patterns were the same for most all sub's, so I didn't even check the tire sizes. On my friend's outback they looked normal size, but when they went on my car they just barely fit, less than a quarter of an inch of clearance to the perch.
No rubbing, looks awesome
I am keeping my old snow tires to use in some situations, they are a little smaller but the tread is more than an inch wider, and although worn just to the wear bars, the tread is more aggressive. They will be good for gravel and sticky mud, and are smaller and give more power. The difference with the taller tires are noticeable, brakes are mushier and acceleration less, but narrower and bigger gives better gas mileage 100%.
