Com'on, I drive a 2.5RS, the STi is a beast to me haha.
But put into perspective, yeah its quite tame for Solberg.

I still have yet to compete against an 06-07 WRX. But... the '06 STi has fallen by the hands of my RS :D
And fwiw, I now have come to love the '06-'07 nose/body. It grew on me.

I pay $70 a month for insurance and there isn't much difference in weight besides the turbo, up/down pipes and intercooler.

idk man.. my jeep weighed 200 lbs less than yours.. its kinda on the heavy side..
so i was looking around.. and for $16000 i can make a 98-2001 RS have over 480WHP!! and oh so much more tourque!!!!!! and for $31,500 i can get a STI to 700 HP!!! lol ok im off subject but yeah

Nice vid. I think Solberg doesn't mind doing these types of things. A few turns into that second lap... sideways, hell yeah. :)
I got to see the new STi in action on the autox course this weekend, its definitely soft and squishy off the lot. Plan on getting some coilovers & swaybars if you want any kind of cornering performance.
