hey i was recommended to come to this site, i want to lift my 98 legacy sedan, ive been told forester struts and springs, i just want to make sure if i do it, that its right. What do i need to lift it?

I'd go with some OBS struts and springs. They bolt in easy and are not difficult to find!

It depends how high you want to go...


subtle solutions or jackson rally strut top spacers (1" lift)
OR (anything more than 1" you'll need a camber bolt set for the front also)
96-99 outback struts, your leggo springs are the same... (1.5" lift)
OR
96-99 outback struts with gen 1 forester (98-02) springs (you'll need the forester upper spring perch for the front too) 2ish" lift
OR (you'll need camber kit for front and probably rear too for this one)
gen 2 forester (2003-2008) complete strut assemblies (strut, spring upper spring perch, and top hats)... 3+" lift
