Very few Subaru rally cars run fuel cells. They can be harder/more expensive to plumb, difficult to locate and typically have smaller capacity than the stock tank.
Why are you thinking of using one?

We cased a jump and caved in our stock tank, causing it to crack towards the top.

avoid fuel cells. the rules to have them pass are excessive in the states. Just build a good skid plate for the stocker. Unless you like hard work and spending money.

I've done a little bit of research on them (mainly just looking at what other people have done) and they are a pain (and very expensive)...but, if your OEM one is toast, you don't have much choice, eh?
That said....I don't think there are too many people on DI with fuel cells.....I'd ask over on special stage or rallyanarchy.com.

If you are planning on running RA events don't bother. You will need to build a leakproof casing around the fuel cell or partition the trunk and make sure it is leak proof. In other words you need to build a fuel cell around the fuel cell ?!?!?!

exactly, its stupid. since the stock tank is fine but i have seen some crap stock setups. But too many people cant put a fuel cell in properly or something. I dont know. I think it could be managed differently.
I'd just put another stocker in. The only fuel cells I'd want (for placement and capacity) are just obscene in price.
