I thought about doing this also, but from the front view the lift seems to have brought his suspension geometry in. I have to believe that he did some serious tweaking to keep the camber normal. I'm running D-specs with King Springs and I had to swap my front wagon-width out to a sedan width just to keep the camber normal - and it is about dead center.

That is great for mudding, but I'd hate to try and corner tight with that. A lift like that is great for the old Loyales (pushing the EA82s), but I would not want to do it in an Impreza - does look sh*t hot though.

Yeah I'm going to try and get a hold of him on NASIOC and see how he likes this set up, and how daily driver friendly it is.

That is my car. It is a great DD, as long as you realize it's not built for high speed cornering. I have had it in really steep off camber situations offroad and it is more stable than it appears.

I have had it aligned and the camber is in spec now. I was having a problem with rear toe but that can be solved with the Whiteline adjustable lateral links.

I have about 30K on this set up and no problems with the axle boots, no sub-frame spacers.

here is a couple of actions shots for you guys.

Sundog, have you done anything else to help accomodate such large tires. Like change the gearing or any performance mods to assist with moving so much mass? It just seems like that is a lot of mass to be moving on a N/A engine with stock gearing.

Also for curiosity sake, what are your mpgs now?

I've been considering a similar setup as I currently have a 2004 TS. I live in Colorado and I am always up in the mountains playing. And so I am just curious as to how the size will affect the car up at altitude when power is starved enough as is.
