Kyle is impatient, and I have the pictures already uploaded. So here is Zebra's thread- his car, not mine!
His '06 WRX struts and Tanabe gf210 springs came in the mail a day or two ago, and we headed up to Ohio to meet Kreitz3 and install them. Learning experience for both of us.
With the exception of Zebra's panic attack over how LOW it was halfway through the process, it went without a hitch. The phrase of the night was "Don't rip the boot! Don't tear it! Somebody move the brake line!!"
I was skeptical. I didn't think lowering a Forester 3.5 inches would make it functional, or remotely cool. I was really #&$*ing wrong. It's SICK. It's just like riding in a WRX, only without the boost. Soooo stiff.
Then Kreitz and Zebra and I went and romped it in the mud and pouring rain at Dwires.
Enjoy. Video too.

Dr. Kreitz says "Congratulations, proud parents, it's a strut!"

"Like kids in a crack store..."

Wheel off, time to get cracking

Before- stock height

After- 26" of lowered Forester-ey goodness
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c7/Kiishka/DSCF1063.jpg
29.5" from ground to top on stock struts/springs
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c7/Kiishka/DSCF1094.jpg
Amazing what 3.5" will do!!

So of course we stopped by the local dealership to compare notes...

The '08 is jealous. You can just see it.
