I have been searching this forum for 2 days now and still cant find an answer. I plan on lifting my 2002 WRX Wagon 1", and I want to run 215/70/15 tires Geolanders, or Grabbers. So here is my question(s). What offset should I be using? What rim width sould I be using with the 215/70/15 tires?

I would really prefer 15" rims/tires but if that dosent work I will go with 16"

Thanks in advance for all of the help on getting my WRX LIFTED:headbang:

are looking to only lift with tires or a strut top lift like this (http://www.jacksonrally.com/?page_id=17)?

Ok so here is what I need in addition to the above questions. I need an affordable 15in rim 6.5" wide with a 45 offset give or take a few.

Under 130 a wheel.

I also need to know if 15" wheels will fit over my stock WRX calipers.

This is what im looking at 205/75/15 tires. Only 25lbs a piece! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Grabber+AT+2&partnum=075TR5GRAT2OWL&i1_Qty=4

Closest offset to stock offset I could find in a good looking 15" rim without breaking the bank.

from stock it looks like they will be sitting 13mm further out than the stock rims. I know JacksonRally's rims were 10mm further out than stock and he was running 215-75-15's so 3mm shouldent hurt.

Let me know what you think of this setup:D

the tires look good! not sure how they will look on those wheels though...

15" rally wheels fit over WRX brakes no problem so I'm sure any other 15" wheel will fit as well.

running a larger offset shouldn't really be a problem but I suggest staying around the stock offset. which JacksonRally offset are you referring to? If its the battlewagon, he got that offset by building custom arms, not in the wheels.

Ahh ok, it sounds like he made his control arms 40mm wider and I think his offset is 52mm on the rims, not sure on the rims but either way it sounds like I should have plenty of room with the setup I want? What you think?

Oh and the rims I found are the closest to stock offset I could get without forking over 200 a wheel for the TD's. Unless you know of a place I could get some 15" wheels that will fit better.

That's not what I've heard. I looked into this a ways back and you need to be careful, most won't fit. I think people said Jetta wheels would fit, but many others wouldn't.

Your scaring me now lol. I want to order up my tires and rims tonight

I hear that the 4-2 pot calipers on the 2006 subarus fit 15"

This is good to know! I have only really messed with rally wheels and they are pretty beefy and figured they would fit.

I would suggest searching this forum and try to find some more info. Don't let me mislead you, lol.

team dynamics and braids clear the calipers of a 02 wrx oem set up... i have a leggo set up on mine (because of the slotted rotors) and they are much larger then the stock wrx breaks... i can fit the td wheels on there but i would need to get a shorter bleed screw and grind down the corners of the calipers a bit (just a bit nothing to scary or dramatic)

Thank you for the reasurance :bored: If I had to grind the calipers thats fine becasue I really wanted some tall 15" rubber. Ordered the above tires and rims last night, I hope they fit well :rally-driver:
