MTV's Pimp My Ride

I was just browsing through the TV guide and it says that Pimp My Ride is going to make a 1996 Subaru Impreza into a rally car. ??? It's on MTV2 @ Noon for me (PST, but I have dish network so I think its EST.) It also is going to play on the 2nd and the 4th. By rally car I bet they mean they are going to put a tv in it so you can play DIRT!

I am speachless right now. They are confused as to what a rally car is. The only good things about that car is: its a subaru and it has nice vinyls. Oh, and the seats. And the show was terrible. Thanks MTV for wasting more of my time.

Jeez you guys are harsh.. who cares, it's a scripted reality show (with really bad acting.. "your goatee's crooked".. uh huh). It was a completely neglected, disrespected piece of crap before and now it's all got a nice paint job and a banging stereo or whatever. Dude doesn't care about anything but paintball anyway.

I skipped through it.. did they even mention the engine or suspension or whatever at any point? :D

It's a love hate thing for me....I wish I had their skills, but I'm glad I have my tastes. If I were him, I'd sell the $8k in audio equipment and take out the hidden rear nonsense...and sell 'er to a Subaru enthusiast

I think the make over is ok judging the poor conditions the car was before. Decals are super nice. Eventhough I like my music system, that one was too much for the car. I think overall I'll give it a 7.5;):headbang:
