i have general grabber at2's on my car(215/65/16) i was wondering what you guys would recommend as a good tire pressure for driving around off road/in the snow. Some people say leave a little less air in the tires and others say fill it up(not all the way but a few lbs under the tires max pressure).
so what do you experienced people have to say about this?
if youre doing serious offroading, you want to air-down your tires for traction through rocky sections.
if youre in a situation where you might be going sideways, you want high (~40 psi) pressure to keep the tire from coming off of the rim.

Yeah, it depends on the type of fun you're going to have. Posted under rallycross prep, the general thought is to raise pressures at least above 30 or recommended minimum. The key is that you are aware of the tire pressures. So the other bit of useful info is to have a way to air up your tires, just in case you need it. An air tank or a small compressor, both work great.

so you guys think 30 in the front and 32 in the real should be good in the snow?
i know the recommended tire pressure by subaru is 29/32 but those are for the 205/55/16 and i have 215/65/16
