Lifting my GC?

Hello dirtyimpreza forums!
I want to lift my GC. I have KYB AGX's and stock springs and want a little lift. I can probably get my hand on some 04 FXT springs but I am not sure if they will go with my older tophats?
Any advice on which spring to get would be awesome for a little lift.

I used those same struts and 04 WRX take offs. Had no issue with fitment. They are stiffer and ride much better, also lifted the car up slightly.

So they ride stiffer, yet the ride is better?

I'm looking for a softer ride, something that can take small potholes and patchy roads.

How much lift would stock Impreza wagon (1995, not outback) springs mated to ~98 Forester struts (GR2 or Sensa-Trac) give? I want a lift that is between the height of an Impreza Outback and the Forester swap. Something looking more like the Legacy SUS outback height (http://i565.photobucket.com/albums/ss95/cumminsaddict/100_2366.jpg).

98' Foresters have the same suspension as the SUS's. The Forester gets taller in 2004 and newer models. If you want something between the Impreza and Forester, say about an inch, PM me. I may have something for you!
