I see Unity makes one, I had one on an old cop car I used to have and liked it for the ability to aim and use as odd times, as well as an auxiliary forward facing light. thoughts?

I was looking around for one a little while ago but gave up because I couldn't find one.
I just found one by Unity that says it mounts on a subaru but with no pictures or links to examples. I'd be interested in this if I could be sure that it would remain securely in place under spirited driving.

I'd like to think that a pillar mounted spotlight (cop light) would stay in place under spirited driving aka ramming suspects cars. :)

Lol, ^ I would hope so! That style light sounds like a way to spot out those odd corners or what have you...I like it.

I tried to part one off a taxi at the junkyard. I got it all the way apart except for one little allen screw that was holding the last bit of it on. I had to abandon it.
I always wanted one, though, even if it means finding a used police car with one already.

Unity sells one that is right for the imprezas, even has a specific install kit. The light and install kit look to run about 179 form most distributors.
