I know about mechanical stuff, but i'm really affraid from wireing and ecu, sensors and stuff...
So if anyone have done it and / or have some advices i would be very grateful!

So i made a list of parts that i would need: (please let me know if im missing something).

gearbox,
rear diff,
ecu,
turbo,
intercooler,

Are driveshafts same?

Thanks already guys....

Park the donor car next to the car that's getting the new engine. You'll need a few more pieces from it as you continue.

You will also need the front crossmember.

Really? ok thanks then! :)
Anyway im not sure..
i have few options.. what u all think?
anyway here are ideas.. i just need do decide and start doing something! :)

1 - Buy turbo engine and parts i need and try to install it.

2 - put turbo on EJ20 NA engine i have right now (that include swapping pistons, injectors, etc)

3 - sell damn car and buy WRX insteed...
any ideas what is best?

Tho I'm a newbie here I'd suggest bying a WRX.
It will be cheaper to swap the car.
That's only if you can part with your current vehicle.
So if we compare price and dificculty, starting with the easiest:
1. buy WRX;
2. swap the whole drivetrain;
3. put a turbine on your EJ20.

I would suggest trying to find a single donner vehicle. Preferably one thats not been hit in the front. Its the easiest and fastest way to get everything you need, but not necessarily the cheapest.

Keep in mind you'll need a complete harness with ECU. Also depending on the year of the vehicle recieving the swap you'll need a hydraulic clutch set up ie. pedals, master and slave cylinder.

It also should be said that there are a ton of affordable parts out there if you want to take the time to do the research and piece it all together. You'll been able to find parts from many diffrent years and models.
