The 2007 Gorman Ridge Rally took place on August 18, 2007. It was round six of the United States Rally Championship. A California Rally Series Triple Points Event. Presented by Creative Edge events and sponsored by Subaru. This was the 18th annual running of the event. By all accounts the conditions were the bumpiest and rockiest of all time. It was definitely the driest year on record and competitors were happy just to get through the rally in one piece. Hopefully their liquid cooled racing suits helped keep them chilling in the desert. I agree.
Imprezas are just the gateway "drug" into the world of rally. ;-)
I am starting to appreciate all of the rally cars and teams more and more.
It takes so much work and $$$.
There were a lot of trucks in this rally.
I think it's great. You can have so many different classes and everyone on the same roads.
