Created a Flickr group for Dirty Imprezas

I figured it was about time to have a group on Flickr for this site, so I created one. It's not strictly for DirtyImpreza.com, but open to anyone who has photos of Imprezas gettin' dirty. Should be good for attracting a few new members & getting more exposure. Check it out here: http://flickr.com/groups/dirtyimprezas/. I'm "Dusty Wall" on Flickr.

If you have any feedback for integrating DI with the group let me know. Also, die-hard members here are invited to admin/mod the group if they wish, just let me know.

This is a good reminder for me to point our other domain (dirtyimprezas.com) to the correct site! :)

EDIT: im kinda new to Flickr i never use it. I have an account already and have joined. What is the best way to upload a picture to the group?

Because I want more than 1 Impreza posted...? :tongue: I dunno, it made more sense to me, as a Flickr user, for the group name. My logic was that I would funnel Flickr users to DI & not the other way around, so I created a group for anyone to post pics of dirty Imprezas & called it "Dirty Imprezas", versus "DirtyImpreza.com", or "Dirty Impreza". I can change the group name, but the URL is permanent (I would need to create a new group to get a different URL). Which is still doable, since there is no activity yet.

Good question. First join the group (go to group URL above, click on "Join this group", or whatever), then, in your photos you'll have a button above your pic that says "send to group". Click that & select the group. Done.

If you have many photos to add, use the Organize feature. Organize is a very powerful part of managing your flickr photos, so I won't go into detail, I'll just let you play with it.

DirtyImpreza.com (http://dirtyimpreza.com/) is the premier site for Subaru rally enthusiasts & off-roaders. Subaru owners around the world come to DirtyImpreza.com to share stories, photos & videos; discuss rally news, from local rallycrosses to WRC; organize Dirty Meets; and discuss parts & modifications.

This group is a companion to DirtyImpreza.com (http://dirtyimpreza.com/) but is open to all Flickr users to join & post photos.

Rules: There are only 2 requirements:
1. Posted photos must be of a Subaru Impreza model. WRX & STI also count, of course! Other Subaru models may also be welcome, at the Moderators' discretion. Also, photos of people & events related to dirty Imprezas may be allowed at the Moderators' discretion.
2. Must involve dirt, mud, gravel, sand, etc. Examples are: photos of rally or rallycross action, offroad action, romps in the mud, static shots of Imprezas after getting 'em dirty. Basically, the dirtier the better!
