for wheels, just get some RS or WRX 16" stockers.
they are cheap, look good, and are easy to paint :)

for tires, what are you going to be doing to them? rallyx? DD? street queen?

i'd go with some snow tires then, they are fantastic in the dirt, and fantastic in the snow.

in the winter and on dirt i use 205/55/16 hankook ipike winter w409's on RS 6 spoke stockers. they are fantastic tires with awesome grip. you wont slip at all in the snow (until you want to :muhaha:).

there are quite a few people that run them year around, DD'ing on the streets without issues, but the tires wont last many seasons at all doing that.

if you dont want to do the snows, just look for some good all seasons, there are many many threads on here about good all seasons, just need to search!

Sounds like the Nokian WR is a good tire for you. Its an "all season" that actually performs in the snow. A little on the expensive side but worth it. I ran a set on my STi and again on my OBXT and loved it on both cars.
