So I was at a Discount Tire co grand opening and my friend wanted to show me how their drifting lexus was on the cover of the Janurary 2008 issue of Sport Compact Car. I checked out the car, blah blah blah, but then decided to flip through the pages a bit more and the above picture is what i saw (thats my thumb in the pic)

And not just this. A WHOLE article with probably 6 pages of pictures. Congratulations Erik!!! This has got to be so exciting for you guys. I heard this issue hits news stands in a week or so.

I finally got to read the artical and see it in real life. It is a good write up. I am pumped.

hood scoop is designed to fit in the GC hole on the hood.

I think it is a rip off version of the MRT i got it from the land down under off ebay.

nice....I just read it. 1 question....did you have to custom make those lexan windows? do they work or did you pull the electric motors out too?

We custom made all 3 of the lexan windows.

We did pull all the window mechanisms out of the rear doors.

the 1995 L's came with crank windows, I would go power on the next car since with the FIA "X" door bars it is really hard to crank a window up and down.

WWED? install power switches in the center console for the power windows so both driver and co-driver can reach them.

... thats what ill be doing! :lol2:

Get a Window Glass break and mount it in the center section as well. In case you can not get out the doors and the windows wont roll down. Scary thought but it can happen.

Congo rats, Erik. I don't spend a lot of time on this forum, but I've been reading and rereading the article at work for the last week. Coworker who drives an STi likes it, too. GCs are so much sexier in rally livery than GDs. :(
