hey guys i have a 06wrx with the 4/2 pot subaru calipers and i was trying to find pads for them and the pads they showed me were not even the same! but i found these on tirerack

here are the part numbers
front - HB178F.564
rear - HB179F.630
those look more like it but i want to make sure before i go and buy them you know?, so if anybody thats running the 4/2 pot subie calips lmk man would be a great help thanks!

Yeah, they're right. If in doubt always check the manufacturer's cross list.

i tried those same pads. Yes they stop a bit shorter but they scream like no tomorrow and they warped my rotors slightly! i would recommend just using the stock subaru pads :thumbsup: the kits from subaru are only 75 bucks or so. but hey just my opinion. :jack: :lol2:

I'm running stoptech pads, similar feel and performance to stock subaru pads without the pricetag to match. Only annoyance really is more dust, but for most of us on here we don't care anyhow.

Those are the correct part numbers for your car. I have sold many many HPS pads, it is rare that they squeal badly and warp rotors. I imagine that those pads were put on after another another pad and were not bedded in well enough.
Before you buy from Tire rack, I suggest you take a look at my websitesite. You might find something you are more interested in.
