i have the 92x which is like the "luxury ride" version of the impreza...they softened up suspension and put in smaller sway bars and stuff to make it smoother riding than a wrx wagon. they also put in sound deadening crap. but anyways i was woundering if the stock wrx wagon susspension would be taller and give me more clearence on my front bumper to the ground and if it would be stiffer to give me better handling? or if i should try and get prodrives or sti pinks? and if i get a sperate spring what should i get for my shock?

I would try replacing the struts and using your springs.
I really like the pedders strurts

What are you going to be using your car for? That will help figure out what's best for your application..:)
There's a huge variety of suspension out there..
Erik,
Where do the pedder struts come from? It looks like and STi pink or KYB.
Also, what's the fitiment kit?

Pedders are from Austrialia.
The fitment kit is the two washers you need to fit the sturts on the back of the car. Fitment kit (http://www.landefab.com/sess/utn15473d218724141/shopdata/0005_Subaru+Impreza/0070_Impreza+WRX+2002-05/0030_Handling/0080_Suspension/0015_Struts+and+Coil-Overs/product_details.shopscript?article=0040_Pedders%2B Impreza%2B2004-07%2BRear%2BStrut%2BFitting%2BKit%2B%3D285052%3D29 )
The pedders are not adjustible they are speed sensitive damping. They feel like the KYB AGXs on setting 3. I also think they are going to be stronger then the KYB AGXs.
I am running their coil-overs on my street car and I have been very happy with them on dirt or gravel.
I assumed since he wants to keep the car stock height that he is going to use them on dirt.

Thanks for the link Erik..
That makes sense. Changes the stacked height of the strut top to accomadate the '02-07 top hat..The GCs have shorter stacked heights. That rear strut is for both GC/GD? Fronts are the same for both?

From the part numbers the GC front and rear have one.
The 02-07 fronts are all the same.
The 02-07 rears are the same but after 04 the fitment kit is needed.

Those struts aren't specific to the wagon are they? I've heard that any non-wagon rear strut will cause the rear to lower a bit because the sedan and wagon rears are different...
I'm thinking about upgrading the struts/springs combo too but seems like the rear height is a problem...anyone know for sure?
EDIT:
Okay, so keep in mind putting sedan struts on a wagon will cause you to lose camber. So grab a pair of camber bolts for the rear to obtain more rear camber...might need them for the front too...mixed reviews about that.
Anyone know what a good price for KYB AGX's with 10k miles on 'em would be? Opportunity to grab for $330 vs. $600 new

I've heard the tokico d-specs are great struts. Better than AGXs for sure.

I agree! I've had AGX and D-specs and the D-specs are much smoother riding and have more adjustability. Although they are available in only "sedan" fittment, they work fine on wagons. Running stock springs, you'll be limited to about -.6 degrees camber up front and the rear should sit at about -.5. This is fine for most people, and camber bolts ( I recommend H&R) will give up to -1.2 or so front camber and -1 rear. The height of the rear spring perch is the same for wagon and sedan struts and it is the use of sedan rear springs on a wagon which causes "saggy wagon ass."
