Just wondering what everybody thats doing stage has under the drivers seat. Our passanger seat is mounted directly to the mounts, and figuring out if we should do sliders on the drivers seat. I assume from the rules that sliders are ok...

5.4. SEATS
A. Driver and co-driver seats shall be firmly mounted to the structure of the
vehicle and be installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. Seat
mounts require the same strength as occupant restraints (3500 lbs.).

Well, if you look in the FIA rules, Appendix J, Art 253:

Article 16:

.
.
.
If rails for adjusting the seat are used, they must be those
originally supplied with the homologated car or with the seat.
.
.
.

In general, if you use a good quality slider it'll probably pass tech. For instance, if you use a Sparco slider with a Racetech seat, the local scrutineer *could* give you a hard time but probably won't. If you use a Sparco slider with a Sparco seat, everything's fine.

None of like the cheapo single-pin sliders, though.

No no, obviously we would go with the cobra sliders that match the seats:
