So we got a set of 4/2 pots for the car, and now we are trying to figure out the rear setup we are going to use. As everyone knows, you need a group N rotor to clear the ebrake due to its larger diameter then a wrx drum brake. Since we are running a hydraulic handbrake, we decided to delete the drum brake and were thinking this would solve the problem and allow us to run a non custom rear rotor for the ease of spares. Only we encountered an unforeseen problem...the tone ring for the ABS doesn't clear either. Its not by much, and we thought about having the rotors lathed out to clear, but we are worried about the lack of material left after. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe unless we run a new DCCD controller, we need the toner ring and sensor working for proper DCCD. What is everyone else running other then group N rotors? Just working out some ideas, its been a long weekend of camping/adult beverages and our decision making at the moment isn't at its best :cuckoo:
