First off let me start with me saying I've searched and searched but really couldn't find any definitive answer to my question, so I apologize if there's something I missed.

I am in need for new tires. (Woah Shocker!)
Since I don't have the cash-ola to have a dedicated set of Rally-X wheels and tires and a set of DD's, I need to pick up some good All-Season tires that can hold up to both DD and Rally-X.

I have been looking at these two tires so far:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=ExtremeContact+DWS&sidewall=Blackwall&autoMake=Subaru&autoYear=2005&autoModel=Impreza%20WRX%20Sedan&autoModClar=&partnum=055WR6ECDWS&tab=Sizes

and these:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Potenza+RE960AS+Pole+Position&partnum=055WR6RE960PP&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Subaru&autoYear=2005&autoModel=Impreza%20WRX%20Sedan&autoModClar=

Are any of those two above good choices? Any better choices? Any help is extremely appreciated.

For what you're asking, I'd consider the Fuzion HRi's for double duty.

Traction T/A

Both look like really good options, but since im running stockers, 205/55-16, tirerack and discount tire don't have either of them in that size from what I've found.

This is the Traction T/A that we've used around here for years as our "stock" Rallycross tire (back when both SCCA and CRS had sipe size restrictions) and it worked quite well. I ran several seasons with them, as well as drove DD and up to Thunderhill (9 hour drive each way) for several races a year.

They're not the best, esp not any more that there are no size restrictions.

However, they will last you longer (as DD tires) than snow tires (and I think they feel better on pavement than snow tires - if it's warm, snow tires just feel . . . squishy . . . which is fine for boobies, but not for tires. . .) and the blocks are soft and flexible enough to do pretty decent in the gravel.

Brent - what is the brand of the fuzion?

I think Fuzion is the brand.

Fuzion is indeed the tire brand. It is a bargain brand made by a bigger company, but I forget which one...Bridgestone, I think.

The tires already mentioned in this thread, are reviewed here:

...and there are also some additional all-seasons recommended.
