I do rallycross tech on occasion. For a normal car, here is the checklist:

- Helmet
- Seatbelts
- Battery not loose
- Wheels not loose
- Nothing pissing out of the engine
- Affirmative answer to "you'll take all the crap out the car, right?"

Errr... that's about it! Lack of cats just put you in Street Modified 4WD class (which interestingly will also feature everybody else mentioned in this thread so far).

True that! Rallycross tech is a piece of cake. Its mostly common sense items. battery is tied down tight, brake pedal isnt squishy, floormats are in the trunk, helmet is approved for the event...

If in doubt post up about the event you are going to run, i'm sure someone will know the rules for you.

hey all. just joined the site by googling how to tips on "mod"ing rear drum to disc on an outback sport. at the present, i'm all factory but i've been itching to start. doing my research and always open to suggestions.am currently in iraq, but plan to start when i return. will get my "beginning" pics in soon, gotta crop em down. nice site i might add.
