What's up, y'all? I'm new to this site, but I've been on some other boards for a little while now. I was referred to the site by Azewaldo at the last RallyX in Antioch. I've done both rallyX's in Antioch this year, and can't wait for more. I love to mod, but I'm on a tight budget, so I like to DIY whenever I can. This seems like a very unique place in the Suby community, and I'm looking forward to getting my Impreza dirty. :D

Hey Shawn welcome to the boards!! DIY is the way to go!!! I'd definitely love to see some pictures, and its good to hear you're hooked with rallyx!!

I'm about to throw some Koni's on my car, and I ran across some posts people made about not being good for rallyx, and blowing struts, etc. Now I'm a little worried about RallyXing on them. Anyone here have any experience with these?

I personally haven't used any Koni's but know that many people rallyx on stock struts and springs, so it would seem that any upgraded shock would be ok for a while for rallyx.

Its stage rally that you might not want to skimp on some good suspension.

Welcome aboard to DirtyImpreza. Most of us are on "limited" budgets so you should find a lot of good tips for DIY stuff.

Yeah, I have a few write ups for DIY mods I could post up here. Right now, I'm working on a homemade aluminum pitch stop thats going to be made out of an old, hacked up Ebay H-Brace. That's going to be fun.

I just learned though, DIY parts are "Ghetto" according to the "I know more then you" Dictionary.
