Hey,
I need a new exhaust...i was romping around off road and kinda bent some piping, Ive been wanting to redo the exhaust anyway so i wasn't too worried about it.
I want to do a full exhaust, Headers backs, i was planning on getting a shop to just weld something up and try to tuck it away a little bit if they could.
I was gonna do 2.25 all the way back but i didn't know what to do for headers or exhaust manifolds, my stock ones aren't in the best condition so i was wondering what should i replace them with?
I have a 98 2.2L

Well if you want headers the only real option is the ones from 2.5RS.com, but i did 2.25 from the cat back with a 18in resonator and 40 series flowmaster muffler and it works great!

Do the 2.5 headers hang low?
or will they still be hidden behind a skid plate?

you cant use the 2.5l headers because they are dual port...our 2.2l are only single ports exhaust :(

That kinda sucks....Guess ill just get a new stock header and just go 2.25 right after that

if the flanges are good on your exhaust then make your own headers with some piping! then get a y pipe from a fullsize 80's chevy truck and the inlets should be 2 1/4 inch in to eather 2 1/2 or 3":muhaha:. im one for full custom! but thats just my 2 cents!
