Here it is, after long last, looking everywhere for a nice used car, then figuring out with the fat deals Subaru financing is giving, it'd be the same price to just get a new one - plus I think these models are bad ass looking.

No waiting for the '11s for me, the widebody is cool but a little ricey, plus they'll likely cost a lot more and not be available for a long time.

Just a note though, this car will not see dirt for a long time. I'm kinda weird that way. I'm even hesitant to bring it to HDT to spectate and camp....I'll probably loosen up after a while though, this is my first new car after all...

I've spent enough time on dirt roads - this one stays pretty for the time being. :)

But yes, some RA flaps are inbound soon enough. Which ones should I get? I know they offer 3 different kinds and know nothing about them....

i got the Urethane Mud Flaps ($129). Kinda pricey but they work Great

Congrats on the new Subaru! This came way out of left field... i had no idea you were scoping out brand new subies! The white looks awesome for sure.

I highly recommend the RallyArmor Urethane mudflaps (the $129-ish ones). They will last forever, especially around here in southern california. I've had my first generation urethane flaps for almost 4 years now (back when they were called UR Limiteds), and they've held up to 2 seasons of rallycross and several winters in the mountains.. they still look great!

Ordered my exhaust today (ERZ catback) - a cheap-o solution while I decide if I want to get a turboback system or not.

Also, tint and taillight mod go on tomorrow morning - it's ON!!!
