No, this would be the result of John and Ted putting this rally on without much help since 1991 (sometimes with two events per year). Read the letter - they summarized their feelings pretty well and explained why they are at this crossroads.

Unfortunately, Black River Stages is in a similar situation. It's time for people to step forward and start organizing (not just working at) the events if you want to see stage rallying continue to grow.

organizing a stage rally is not that hard, if it's small, NEFR is not small, but with enough folks pitching in to help it can be done. Talk to Ted and John and see what we all can do to help.

I can see where they are coming from. It seems like the organizers get criticized more than praised when events take place. Its very easy for people to overlook the things that are expected to happen when something doesn't work right.

I feel for them, but would be sad if NEFR didnt happen...

keep up the volunteering to help, I'm hearing that things are looking up because folks are stepping up to the plate. even the littlest thing can help
