225 fit snugly a little rubbing depending on how good your suspension is.

225/50/16. As for suspension, stock ride height. Stock springs w/KYB AGX

You should be fine. Both tires end up being the same Diameter,

I have 225/45/17s and I rub under hard cornering. I had the same on my old RS and rolled the fenders with a baseball bat. No rubbing... A dent in each of my corner panels, but no rubbing.

I've only ever run azenis RT215s and RT615s though, so that could be why. They have some serious shoulders on them.

Yes, Azenis tend to run a little wide as compared to other brands/models..

It all depends on what type of suspension, wheel off set and how much you want to roll your fenders.
If you have coilovers, you can run a higher offset wheel and not worry about rubbing on your struts. But if the offset is lower, you will have to roll the fenders depending.
I have a friend running 245 on a 17x8 +48 offset wheel and no rubbing at all. Due to the fact that he rolled the hell out of his fenders and has coilovers.

KYB GR2 (AKA stock struts), stock RS 6 spokes (dont know the offset, anyone know off hand?), and dont really want to roll my fenders, but if its absolutely necessary its very possible for me.
from what im hearing though, i will be able to fit 225's with my setup.

as said it all depends on suspension, alignment, & wheel width/offset.
Ran 225/45 on 17x7.5" for STS class auto-x w/o ever touching the fenders. Suspension wasn't exactly soft though. ;)

RS 6 spokes are +53
It all depends on the tires. some 225s are wider than other 225s. some will fit fine, some will rub in the rear.
