STi Group-N Scam?

I need some input from the board here...

I bought some strut mounts/tophats off of a vendor - that I am not going to disclose at this time. After reading a thread on NASIOC about OEM STi parts being sold as Group-N parts, I started to do a bit of investigating.

Upon looking at the FHI box that I got my rear tophats in, they say:

Subaru Genuine Parts, Fuji Heavy Industries
Strut Mount Rear B0310FE013

Now, after doing some research, the STi Group-N rear tophat part number (for the GD/GG chassis is):

ST203704S020 Rear Strut Mount
ST2031055000 Front Strut Mount

I am starting to think that this is a rip, can somebody help?

SoA, SoJ, STi, and SPT all have different part numbers for the Group N parts. The ST* number is a SoJ STi part number while the B* number is a SPT part number.

OK, with that being said. I have Group-N strut mounts? Because I found a website selling tophats with the same part number not advertising them as Group-N.

I just need to know. I cannot find a picture of Group-N tophats outside of the vendor that I bought them from - who has responded to me assuring that I have Group-N's, naturally.

B0310FE013 is the SPT part number for a Group N top hat.

Now, as far as wither or not what you actually received is what you wanted, well, compare it to your stock top. The Group N ones are MASSIVELY harder.

RaceComp lists it as a Group-N, I would trust RCE, so I'm going to say it's legit.
