Ok, i was driving home from school and turned down a fork in the road. I slowed down and down shifted in to third from fifth but I slowed down enough to require this. when I got on the throttle again it sputtered twice and then was fine. next down shift same story.:pissed: then later it started to sputter more then it barely ran and now it dosent.:angryfinger: I was thinking fuel filter sense i recently did a rally-x but i changed it and still no start. any ideas? think the fuel pump let go and isnt giving enough pressure? I can still hear it turn on and pump up. then it stops.:machinegunleft: Im gonna see if i can get a pressure checker and see if it still has pressure. any sugustions? has this happened to anyone else? any help would be apprecated.

Yeah my bet would be the plugs or coil. If you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the car to on, then I would be thinking its still ok.

If it's the plugs, yeah they can go like that. Especially if they're a crap brand. Only replace those with NGK or Denso if you end up changing them out.

Check the crank position sensor, the major ground wires on the intake manifold, and if they dont work, see if you can borrow a scan tool from school or auto zone or something.
