That actually happened to me at a stop light a few years ago.. some guys in a white van yelling "hey!! you wanna buy some speakers, high end stuff man!!". I was baffled. I'd just picked up some sweet old-skool huge Acoustic Research speakers from Goodwill for 20 bucks anyway, so I wasn't interested :D

I have a friend that bought some speakers fromt he back of a white van... I told him not to, but he did anyways... paid $600 bones when he could have bought them online for $200...

i remember when i was little and this guy in a van asked my dad if he wanted to buy some speakers. he said what have you got?? the guy showed him and said 800 for a pair, best speakers you can get. and my dad said 800 bucks for stolen speakers... nah i aint got that much money anyways. well the guy said what have you got? my dad said 20 bucks and ill give you this radar detector (which back when i was 8 or so they were pretty spendy and he had to order it out of a magazine or something) the guy said sure and traded. little did he know the radar detector hadnt worked in 6 months my dad was just too lazy to take it out. still got the speakers to this day. ha. scammers getting scammed.

OMG!! My friend was just telling me two nights ago about selling speakers with some dude for a day. Did he say they were $3000 speakers but he was going to sell them to you for $500? By the end of the day that guy got jacked by one dude and punched in the face by another. HAHAHA!!!!

haha "acustic research" are actually good speakers! i wouldnt mind them! but yeah same thing happened to my stupid stoner friend in burlington wisconsin.. guy said they were $1200 speakers and were selling them for $600.. my friend was like woah i only have $200 on me and a 20 sac... lol guy was like ok ill take that.. he got these awesome speakers and sold them for $1200 on ebay! haha.. then he wasted it buying a bong and tons of weed..lol
