Even though.... This cost me 2nd gear, 2 control arms, 2 drive axles, and a hell of an engine knock with 168K on 2.2 5spd.

Were those from a RallyCross? How did you blow out 2nd?

Me and a few of my buddies from Subaruislife.org (a growing SUBARU club, particular to Eastside Seattle area) got together at a friends house in Stanwood. We had 9 cars there, and about 50 spectators. 9 acre field, used for crops, well, it rained that day, and it instantly turned to mush. Me and one other guy who had rally tires got stuck at the very end, but so were jeeps, and a huge lifted f350.

LOL!!! Dude... There were street cars out there with toyo's and re92's, and wow. They got stuck right off the bat. We beat the track down a bit, and we were able to get some decent runs in, but I had my 15 minutes of fame when I took a jump at close to 65 and landed sideways in the mud. That is where the suspension got thrown out.

Like I said, I will have more pics and videos up soon. Just waiting on my buddies...

2nd gear went out this morning on the way to work actually. I was minding my own business, took a right at like less than 5mph, went to shift into 2nd, and it will not go in. Me and a buddy are gonna rip it apart this weekend.

I'll generate a mod list, but it is nothing special... Semi Stock. It's a 96LX (same options as a 98RS, just no sunroof and 2.2L) and I love it. I come from a 1.8L 4EAT, so this car is a huge step up for me!!!
