New to dirty impreza I have been lurking around for awhile but finaly joined.
I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what if any I can use on my car from a 2002 wrx wagon suspension wise? My stock struts are toast from my last rally cross so I need to do something with it. A buddy of mine gave me a loaded set of low km stock struts/springs from his wrx.
Dont suppose there is any chance they will just bolt right up?
Cheers and thanks for any help you guys can give.
(I saw another post asking a similar question but I was not sure what the answer was based on that post so sorry if this is asking something that has already been asked)

well it would make sense to me, but i just have an RSsupension
In the rear, you can pull the top spring perches and tophats off the 2002 stuff and replace them with your stock 2000 rear spring perches and tophats. You will also need the Scooby921 strut spacer in the rear, available from Turn in Concepts.
The fronts will bolt right up, no changes needed.

Thanks for the quick replys that's the answer I was looking for. As far as the spacer goes I am hoping to get these swapped in either tonight or tomorrow night. Any chance I can rig up some washers in place of the spacers or should I just wait to install these until I can get a set of spacers?
If you have a good hardware store close by you can probably find the right washers. Take the disassembled strut with you to get the right size. They need to be hardened washers or you'll eventually have clunking.
Honestly, if you've never done it, I would wait for the spacers.

I am going to order a set of the spacers right now. Do they come with installation instructions? Or can someone tell me where on the struts they go exactly?

there should be people on here that can tell you, but if not pm jackson rally, or aaron, or someone will pop on and know the answer for ya. but i would assume they just sit on top of the struts and come predrilled so it should be pretty easy

So I couldn't wait I swapped the WRX springs and struts in and just used washers to space it. The fronts just bolted in like you guys said. The back was actually pretty no fuss to. The only issue I ran into was I did not align the spring perches in the back properly the first time so I had to compress the spring again and rotate it so the springs would clear the inside of the wheel well. I wish I had measured my ride height before and after. It defiantly gained some clearance and feels a lot firmer.
(The rear end looks a bit saggy in this picture but the back of the car is loaded up pretty good it actually sits pretty level)

Not to hijack this thread, but let me see if i understand this... I have a 93 impreza sedan (seems to be the same as my 95 L sedan for all the parts).. All I need is 02-03 wrx suspension. The front will bolt right up. The rears i just get these: http://www.turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=234&osCsid=d9 and use my stock top hats and that's it?? I'd like to raise it up a little bit and firm it up, but I dont wanna have to oblong the holes where the rear strut mounts. Also would i need an alignment after doing this?

Yeah, is your 93 AWD or FWD?
I think if it's FWD the rears are different, but I'm not sure.
If it's AWD, then the 02 - 03 stuff should bolt right up using your stock tops and the spacer.
Yes, you should get an alignment.
