i dont mind the stock one but the sti one rocks my socks.
it fills that gap for my secret love for the focus styling.


edit: on a side note, mitsu is failing also. all they have is the evo which is at sti level and no lower awd models for the peasants.

editedit: and their newer models dont look that great either.

No, 08's will never look good. Part of Subarus appeal was that they produced a car that was different from the Masses. Now it just looks like any four door Japanese sedan. Certainly not a lot of people seem to be buying them.

Yea I saw one at a stealership, I stoped to get an up close saw the price and about sh*t my pants. Now this was a fully loaded WRX not an STI.....sticker was $31,000.00..........What!!!

eventhough i love subaru's i just cant get through the fact that they made the wagon look like a mazda(speed3)...but then again i alson hated how they changed the 06 grill look and then learned to like it. hopefully we'll learn to like the new stepchild :mrgreen:

Although a friend of mine were talking and we were discussing the Si drive in the new STi...

With the new engine management, etc. This might be able to provide on the fly switching of maps, cool stuff (but dangerous if you dont know what youre doing!)

when i was at the dealer getting my 07 sti the sales men said maybe we can look at some of the 08 WRX's cuz i almost couldnt afford it, i looked him in the face and said i might as well keep my camry in such a serious way he just said nevermind.. then i found a way to leech money from family and bought my 07 STi =) all is well, but i agree with most of u guys the new wrx is like a corolla with a hole in its hood, and im not much of a hatchback fan for the new STi

I think Mitsu hasn't completely fallen off the deep end in the style department. It's just that they are lacking in the power department. Personally, I rather like the look of the current Galant.

When I worked at Enterprise Wreck-A-Life, I got a few chances to drive some brand new Galants. Surprisingly decent. Just a shame they didn't give it another 100hp and RWD to make a proper saloon of it.

Don't forget Subaru styling was always kind of Toyota-bland-ish. Park a GL (Loyale) next to an '80's Camry and look very fast. Or a 2nd-gen Legacy and a 90's Camry. or.. or... or...

They're not about looking good, they're about being decent cars. Styling just steals money from the engineering department.

the front end of the sti makes me cry, the overall styling though only slightly upsets my stomache. I think the bugeyes have the potential to look the best if done right, and for sti's the 04/05's look the best (bugeye sti's are ok and 06's are ok but have too many diagonal lines) the 04/05's just look the meanest with the big wing.

After seeing an '08 WRX in person the other day I don't think they look half bad, and I think the STi in person will be even better...

I pretty much felt the same way when the bugeyes came out, then I bought one :D

What is it with you guys and bugeyes! I mean I like my car... but the bugeye kinda annoys me. Its just such a wierd look I just wana know what someone thinks when they first look at it and has never seen it before. To me its cool but I prefer the older body styles 22b being my fav by far!

GF FTW! love the 5 doors. I dont prefer the new WRX's but they look decent in person. I loved the fender flares of the wrx's though and the wrx is just too flat now. I'd take a 02-07 anyday before an 08
