So, a few weeks ago I finally got around to installing a Cobb rear sway bar. I already had STI pink lateral links, so I had to replace my 'C' endlink swith the STI 'dogbone' endlinks a long time ago. In my typical budgetary fashion, I had decided to go with cheapo ebay endlinks for the time being; which held up pretty well.
Until I put in the cobb sway bar.
The cobb bar didn't like them much and a week later at my first RallyX with the cobb bar (antioch 2) the cobb bar mangled both endlinks and broke a bolt on each side. awesome.
So I ordered PolTec endlinks, which came from a recommendation a long time ago from a respected forum member over at Cobb Forums.
Long story short...they came in today, and they're every bit as beefy as their photo online.

I'll get them installed before this weekend's rallyX (JV5) and have a full write up next week. :)

Cool, I would ditch those red rubber things though. All they will be good for is retaining mud/water which will just corrode the balls on the rod ends and cause premature wear.

Since we are on the topic... I installed the Cobb sways last week and also the cobb endlinks. Question: Is it normal for there to be a popping sound when the suspension flexs? When I pull into my driveway (and other like situations) there is a kinda popping noise coming from what sounds like the endlinks.

Sounds like you didn't torque the endlinks down enough.
I like the look of these Poltec links, mabey an upgrade next year I like the adjustable preload they have.

How did the poltec's work out?
Sorry I am bumping all of these old threads but they are good reading.

All four of my poltec endlinks clunk after 1.5 years of use. The rubber boots are rather useless and become hard and warped after exposure to road salt. The pillowball linings on mine broke down because of contamination with grit and water and now they are noisy. I'd previously blew out my Helix pillowball endlinks in a similar manner. I think I'l go with urethane bushings in aluminum endlinks next.

Did you maintain them while they were in service? This is one of the reasons I didn't go with heim jointed suspension arms for my last 240sx. They are higher in maintenance than regular bushings.
One tip from a friend with heim joint swaybar links was to take a bicycle innertube. Cut a section and slide it over the endlink. Ziptied the bottom. Fill with grease. Ziptied the top. He runs his endlinks like that on his autox Sentra (GTiR swap thing boogies).

Those are sharp looking. Hard rubber bushings correct?

ten80, your rears are shot too? I'm surprised. Mine are about 2yrs, 40k miles old and I do about the same kind of driving you do. Mine are still ok.
How did you determine they were shot?
