Since this should be the BEST forum for Subarus involvement with amateur sports. How many are aware that first place in any class that Subarus are legal to compete, first place at the Nationals in Hastings is worth $1,000.00. Yes, I too just do this for fun, but who'd say no to the chance at $1,000.00 for playing with your car? Not me.

Yes, this is what I was talking about. Considering the support Subaru gives Rally America and NASA's rally program, I feel pretty fortunate to have an opportunity to compete for this kind of money in my DD. Now if Bridgestone had a contingency program...LOL I love their tires.

At the Nationals level $1,000.00 can be won. At the local level $250.00, next year I hope we can have 2 of these qualifying events.
