RA skid plate doesnt fit!

Well I received my skid plate today from rally armor, and it doesn't fit! There are three holes in the front of the plate that don't line up to anything. Needless to say, I am pretty pissed. Considering how much they cost, you think they'd do a little quality control.

eep. thats not good! How much is it off by? I know mine wont fit if any of the bolts are more than hand tightened all at once.

RA has very good customer service so if in fact it was drilled wrong, id expect that you could get it replaced...

call them and ask. you might have received the wrong one. skid plate is next on my list when i get some money.

GC8 plates are only supposed to have two holes at the front and two holes at the rear. is the front lip flat, or does it have a 45* bend upwards?

The WRX skid plates have 3 slots in the front. the GC/GM/GF plates have 2 holes in the front.

Yeah then I think I got a wrx plate. Three holes at the front and a 45 degree bend.

it looks like you have an 2002+ RS plate which is a completely different design from the GC body style. We have reached out to you via email earlier today and sending you a 99 RS plate as per our email earlier to you. Apologies for the confusion.

-GC is on the left, note the 2 holes up top, two in the rear, and the bends to allow the exhaust manifold to fit.

-GD is on the right, 3 holes in the front, two in the rear. Plus the bend in the front.

409: the plate I received has the bends down the center like the picture on the left, but it also has the 45degree turn up in the front.
