so how do you get into it? just know the right people i'm guessing. i know they have schools that go along with rally schools but those cost a ton of money.

go to CRS rally school for co-drivers next spring (its cheap). go up to Paul Eklund's school as well if you can get up there (portland). get a certified helmet, suit, and try to find a rookie driver looking for a rookie co-driver on www.specialstage.com's forum.

The CRS school is fun as hell too! You get an introductory feel as to what to expect dealing with time controls, transits, etc. It is excellent value for the money... you cant beat it.

its about a hundred bucks... and that includes entry into the rallycross too.

Also, look into competing in TSD's. It is a great way to get the basics down, and learn to think on your feet while riding in a car (its much harder than you might think).
