Recently let a friend use my car and well lets just say my clutch is gone. Fourth and fifth gear are a no go. Wondering if im going to need to replace the whole kit or just a clutch disc?
I would want to upgrade seeing how all I have now is factory. What brands should I be looking into?

Pretty much any clutch you buy from someone will come in a kit with the clutch disc and pressure plate. It is also ideal to replace the release bearing and pilot bearing when doing so. Also if you want to upgrade your flywheel now is the time to do it, if you don't upgrade get it resurfaced.
I don't keep close tabs on how which brand clutch performs with turbo'd subaru's, but I have an exedy stage 1 on my RS and it has held up awesome. Might help to post up any mods you have done to the car and future mods to help decide which brand and level will work best for you.

dude, I dont know if you are gonna do it your self or not. But I would go down to the subaru dealer and buy a STI stage 3 clutch from em or the stage two. They dont really stage em, buy they have a 3 puck metal clutch with lightened flywheel by STI that would serve you well and the dealer would install it so as to not affect your warranty. they have stage one upgrade basic clutch kit also and these clutches are not real expensive. my three puck and fly wheel installed were about 1875 out the door and thats good considering it wont affect your warranty.
