Does a Cat Back Exhaust help with performance? If so how much in a 1999 2.2L Impreza?

Hey man, sorry I couldnt meat up with you while i was home for X-mass...that snow was WAY crazy out where i live and made me park the subie and drive my dads tuck around :(

As for exhaust for the 2.2l I just got a 2 1/4" from the second cat back with a 18" magnaflow resonator into a 40 series flowmaster muffler and it sounds great so far! Im going to build a custom cat pipe off the header and tie it into the rest of the exhaust and then get those UEL headers off of RS25...

That alright there more snow to come I bet. Do they give you better performance?

Well it wount be a HUGE gain but it will help you car breathe getting rid of all that small a$$ restrictive stock exhaust....if you havent seen the stock 2.2l single port headers...you will cry when you do :(
