Hey,
I am im the process of building a light bar that will go right in front of my grill
and hold 4 lights, im not sure what kind of lights i should get, i was looking into getting 4 hella 700ff but i figured id post up on here and see if there is something better or more reasonable because i know almost nothing about aux lights
Thanks,
Matt

Fuego halogens are only $125 from our friends at BajaDesigns.com
Tell them Kevin sent you and check out that pretty rally car on their website!!!! ;)
I can't speak more highly of the PIAA 80 pro xt's I have. I got mine new for $220 shipped on nasioc, which is a pretty good deal. If you look around, you should be able to find something similarly good. The quality, beam pattern, and light output are all top notch.

Oh wow,
fuego halogens are much cheaper than the hid....didn't see them
my light bar will be set up like this
O-O-O-O
So I'm thinking black driving fuegos on the inside and black wide driving fuegos on the outside 2. Is that a good set up?

That sounds like a great setup. You'll love the adjustibility of the fuegos too. Very easy to get dialed in and pointing exactly where you want them.

Make sure the lights you decide to get are going to fit between the headlights. When i built mine I spaced the light tabs at 7" O.C. for fitment of 6" Hellas and my bar creeps in front of the headlights slightly. Anything bigger might protrude in front of your headlights. Just a heads up.

Maybe pull your bar out more foward and try a 2-up/2-down setup if your going with bigger lights?

I made it. Were thinking of making them for people who want them. I'm revising the design though so you won't have to cut your bumper and it mounts easier. Its hard to work outside at night on them when its this cold out but were doing what we can. Here is my original thread...

I, too, am in need of a light-bar for my GC8 but cannot find anything remotely suitable anywhere in Oz
Been quoted an arm & a leg to have a nudge/light-bar manufactured & fitted
As you say, 'subydrift', you're "revising the design though so you won't have to cut your bumper and it mounts easier"
I only want it to carry a cuppla spot-beams to give me better sighting up the road ahead of me (& miss tha kangaroos too )
I already use 130/100's (130 High/100 Low Beam) in my JDM crystal headlights & they broadcast a gr8 wide-beam pattern
I would definately like buy one of your light-bars & don't think I'd have any problems selling others here in Oz
Can you pm me the approx weight, length, height & depth so I can get a quote from UPS/e-go
