a skid plate design

hey guys im taking a class in my highschool shop and im making skidplates for the front and back of my 95 impreza does anyone know where i can find a already made template or bolt patterns or even some detailed pics of of yours i know primmitive,and rally armor.com has pics but no demensions. thanks

Um.. wouldn't the point of the class be to go out and design a skidplate? :D

Yeah, I don't think you're gonna find any patterns or measurements online. You can easily measure for yourself though with a tape measure.

When I am mocking up custom plates for people I use cardboard to make the skid plate first and then cut the metal from the cardboard template.

put a 3/4" front lip on the front that is bent up. if you make it so the lip slides up rught under the bottom of the bumper it would be perfect. the lips keeps the front edge from catching, and tucking it behind the bumper is more security.

I had primitive add it to my plate, glad i had them do it too!
