[Duffurban36]

Well I'm going to take this car into a new and different direction from most Zx2 drivers/tuners. I was originally going to turbo this car and make it for street/track use but I want to build this Zx2 into a universal daily driver/off-road spec. I was intending on going with a small turbo to get quick spool for torque since torque is essential in off-road driving. Assuming I build it the way I intend it will produce 236 whp 243 wtq @ 12 PSI. Further updates on parts and accessories will come in soon and within about 1-3 months.

Now to the car.

Originally bought in January of 2007, I bought it as a car I would want when I get my license. $3600 and it had approx. 83,000 miles. Hasn't been used much in the time of me driving it but those miles have been essentially fun.

Mods up to date are:

Keman Intake modification w/K&N Air Filter/Oil Filter, Knocker mod, 2.5" Stainless Steel exhaust piping from resonator to soon a WickedFlow Ebay exhaust temporarily until I buy a TrueBendz Borla Exhaust

That is the only bad thing about this car as well. The diffs and trannys like to take craps on you. And that is why I am going with a MFactory LSD or PhantomGrip LSD

I hate the Focus. Every owner of a Focus Zx3 talks **** like their car is better than mine. I always laugh because if you do your research, you'll quickly find out the Escort Zx2 is better out the factory, only on one condition. Tranny and diff sucks in the Zx2.

Actually, I meant to say ZX2, however one of my friends also had a black ZX3 focus, he hated it with a passion. Sold it to get a 1986 VW GTI.

Well he is a good man for hating it. LAWL my cousin has a 86 VW GTI. Runs like **** though because he isn't a car type of a person so maintenance is out of the question on the would be rally car if it was still in good condition.
