Rally Cross Tire Review Thread

I know I know, we already have a thread about tires in it but I have a suggestion.

Can we make a review thread?

Goes like this....any member can write a review about any tire they have used for rally-x.

-must provide a picture of the tire(doesnt have to be big).
-list pro's and cons
-list size they used and suggested size
-tire wear
-list psi used in tire

maybe make it a permanent sticky thread?

Since new tires come out every year(and I know somebody out there buys them). Its hard to keep up. Also one can post old tires that are still on rack for sale out there.

even dedicated rally tires may be reviewed in the thread.

Also, the person writing a review can write a paragraph about the tire and such.


So what you guys think? Start a "tire review thread" to help out some of the newbies and even some of the oldbies? That way people can read reviews from people who have actually raced on them and decide from an honest review on the dirt rather than what is on the tire-manuf. website.

Great suggestion! You are correct, we do have a thread with a very similar setup as you suggested. More information would probably need to be added, but for the most part it has good information regarding tires that people have used.
I'll go ahead and make it a sticky.

When more information is compiled in this thread, then I'll go ahead and merge the two, as it'd be great to get more input on tires!
