Back in mid 2005 i bought a Subaru brighton coupe. texas wasnt actually too big into subarus so this car came all the way from south carolina. plans are :

V7 with a 2.5l block
Wide body. hopping to put some 17x9 with 265/40/17
PPG 5spd 4.44
with the exception of the widebody going for a classic GC8 look.

This car even as a stock base model drove very very well. alot better than i expected with the cheap tires and and bad shocks. :D

now it was time to start the build. V7 engine that i scored for 1600BUX!!!!! late 2007.

The engine was in pretty bad shape but...just the heads on this thing was worth 1600 bux so i was still very happy with the purchase.

Um any way that I can send you a set of fenders and some cash and you can make me some wide bodied fenders as well? Also are you going to do the rear ones the same way? if so a DIY or anyway to drive my car down to Texas and again some more cash on doing the rears? Oh and :headbang: you rock. That is bad ass I will be checking back periodically to see how this turns out.

Thanks for the comments.

For the rears im probably going to custom bend some metal and weld it on. im not sure if i would feel comfortable making them for someone else cause i dont really have a shop lol. and those fenders took alot of trial and error.but now thats its alot cooler im probably gonna do some more work on the rears. ill definitely post some step by step pics. iff i run across some more materials maybe ill make them and put them up for sale see what kinda interest i get.

Well I was wondering since you did a real good job on those fenders if you could possibly go any wider? I have a website that a lot of people would probably pay a good amount for some wide body fenders as well as a possible DIY edition for the rear. I guess you would have to be good with metal and welding and such for the rears. Hey if the price is right anything can be bought right ;). BTW I love wide body old school imprezas. I am subscribed for sure.
