Rally Colorado - Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Rally Colorado’s park expose showed a total of thirty two cars glimmering in the autumn sun. Saturday’s stages are expected to be fast and easy to read. Tanner Foust is the first on the road Saturday morning. He is still looking for his first win of the regular season, with only 1 event left in Michigan for the year. Travis Pastrana is in the starting blocks second, sitting right behind Andrew Pinker in points. Andrew being third on the road places Ken Block trailing slightly behind, leaving Matthew Johnson a fairly large gap to climb being the first P-GT car on the road.
There is quite a battle brewing in the P-GT class for the season’s point’s standings. The current leader is Patrick Moro, but Stephan Verdier and Matthew Johnson still can win the series. Whoever takes this round and the next will take the crown home this year.
Will Corry from Ireland is driving his 2002 Subaru Impreza STI group N car with Rebecca Greek making his calls. He is looking for the Group N win and hoping for 5th place or better overall. Mike Rose and John Vitera are making their Rally America debut after running this year’s Colorado Hill Climb season. They are hoping for this first rally to be their first finish. More updates after the first day of rallying.
